We wait to buy office electronics for our home-based business during the holidays. There are some great Black Friday deals out there if you are willing to read all of the ads and go for a drive in the middle of the night. However, Cyber Monday laptop sales for 2015 are likely going to be very interesting too. The nice thing about Cyber Monday deals is that you are not limited to stores in your geographic region. You can just go to the retailer’s website and make a purchase. Plus, you do not have to go out in the middle of the night right after that big Thanksgiving meal you ate.
Another thing I like about Cyber Monday shopping is that I never see a problem with limited quantities for the major items people really want. If you go for the electronic items in a local store on Black Friday, you may not get it unless you get in line early. If the store has a 100 units of something and you are number 101, you are out of luck my friend. The Cyber Monday deals that do charge shipping are usually at a lower price or the same as you could have gotten by going out to a store that was offering a super holiday deal. Many places are now offering free shipping anyway.
There really is no downside to buying things on Cyber Monday. Actually another plus is that your kids are not going to find out what you bought by looking at the bags you brought into the house Friday afternoon. They will be back in school before the packages arrive. You can even have them shipped to grandmas house. She probably wraps them better anyway. For us though, Cyber Monday is more about saving on buying stuff for our office than buying stuff for relatives. It is sort of gifts to ourselves so we can keep on doing the work we do to earn our keep.
